Tranny Failure, Maybe?

This goes out to all of the tranny experts. I store my car in the winter. First, I'll give you a little background. The car is up on jack stands, wheels are off. Today I went out to start it, let the engine run, etc. So I put the car in D5 and let the "wheels" roll, with the VSA off, to lubricate wheel bearings etc. After a while of just a rolling idle I usually bring the RPM's up a bit. Anyways, all of a sudden the ABS and VSA light came on! The D5 light was not blinking, like the tell tale sign of a tranny failure, and the fluid is clean. I checked the service manual for any insight as to what the problem is, but all it give me are codes for the Honda PGM tester. Anybody want to take a shot at it.

Could it be that the wheels are off the ground and as such the cars safety systems detect this? This seems reasonable, but call your dealer and ask, they may know.

If it were your tranny, wouldn't it be the service engine light and VSA light?

Don't worry about it. If you had your wheels off the ground and your car was in gear you will set those lights. Think about it..... Front tires are spinning the rears aren't ABS has detected that you are skidding/sliding..... Once you drive the car the light will go out...
This has happened to me serveral times when resurfacing rotors.

mp3coupe, that's what I thought, so I disconnected the battery to try to clear any code(s). Nothing changed, the lights are still on. I guess I'll let the dealer worry about it in the spring.
