Yeah, I'd definitely call. How many miles do you have? Sorry to hear about this though. Good luck with getting it taken care of.

the warranty is 109k miles now
plus the court decided our odometers read 5% high- making 114.5 indicated an actual 109!

My dealer recently did one over 120k - full warranty
Speak ONLY with the service MANAGER and take a box of good donuts with you

have you been gettin your services done at acura? what was their last recorded mileage? this might not be the right thing to do but if they dont cover it and you dont have money, just buy a spedometer off ebay tht has under 109k and swap it. just make sure the dealer has no record of your mileage after 109k

Hey guys I know the new warranty is 109k or 7 3/4 years, but I was wondering how you find out when your car was purchased. I got mine used. I only have 94k on my car but mines a 99 so I know I'm either real real close to 7 3/4 or past. Thanks.

You can tell by the VIN, if you call the dealership and give the VIN to them, they can tell you exactly when your warranty expires.

To find out when your car was purchased ... easy , just open the driver door and look for the production day label = day of the car was start on service

LOL, mine died on Nov 8th with 69,300 miles .... dealer already replace with remanufactured tranny and replaced both broken motor mounts all under warranty.

I guess no more driving "stick" or switching to manual to down shifting and help with braking for me.

dont forget to ask for details on the tranny warranty ... since you are paying for a new (or maybe rebuilt) tranny then you should get a 3yr warranty on it. ASK!
