Traction Control System?

i was reading in the manual the other day ..... it says that if you turn on the traction control system and the light stays on then something is wrong with the Traction Control System..... I have a 99 tl and ever since i can remember the light always stayed on when i pushed the button.....

acura never said anything was wrong with my car when they run it on the diagnostic machine... but i never had them check the traction control system specifically....

Is there something wrong with my traction control or does everyones light stay on when they push the button......?????

Yes the light is suppose to be on when the button is pushed in, it lets the driver know that traction control is off. There is nothing wrong with your car, everoine's does it.

Yeah on means off.

It always defaults to on when you start the car.
