Exclamation Touch up paint help

a girl drove my car and scraped it in the parking lot back in january, and now i want to try to use touch up paint to fix the scrape(s).. i tried taking it into the shop when i got my rear bumper repainted ($2xx) but they said they wanted $1k because the inside of the bumper was cracked due to exposure to the sun.

so i decided that i want to just use some touch up paint to fix it because it's bothering me. i don't expect/need a perfect job, because this bumper won't last long anyways.

so on to my questions: how many ounces of paint do i need? do i need clearcoat/primer/basecoat or all of them? what is the best way to apply the paint onto my car? and where can i get the cheapest paint?

Duplicolor, just pick up a small bottle at kragens or something. I use it and it works fine, be sure to put on an even coat though, cuz if you mess up, its going to look a little sloppy(only when paying super close attention).

I'm having the same problem. I already have the duplicolor paint, but do I need the clear coat as well?

Nope, the duplicolor is a perfect match for your car. I've used it on my car for some pretty crazy scratches...stupid dad....

BUy the new bumer for $250 and get it painted and install it yourself. I just had mine replaced under insurance for $320 painted. I konw if it had been cash they could have done it for less.

i didn't really do anything except for brush it on. this is just a temporary fix until i replace the bumper. it's far from perfect, but i'm satisfied.
