Touch-free wash in Detroit?
Anyone know any? Like at a gas-station or something? I would like to have my car cleaned once a week in the winter.

beware the touchless
the reason being (and I just found this out) is that to be touchless they use harsher chemicals to get the dirt off your car...which will probably strip any wax off as well.
I was told if you can't wash your own in winter go to one of those quarter eating spray places and take your own bucket and soap (even though they signs say not to)...

Absolutely correct.
here's a test question for you:
Q: how do you make a coat of wax disappear in 4 minutes?
A: take it to a touchless car wash.
i would agree that it would be better to load your car up with wax just before the winter then use the sprayers to get off most of the junk throughout the colder months. Then look at it this way, you have something to look forward to in the spring
