TL's with Nav

Wondering if some owners of TL's with Nav could do me a favor. I am in the process of buying all the parts that I need to install Nav in my '02 TLS. I already have the dvd unit, the monitor and the hvac controls. So from what I can tell I am missing the new dash piece and gps antenna. Does anyone have pics of where on the back dash the antenna mounts and also how the dvd unit mounts in the trunk? They would be helpful. I have searced here, and cardomain.com and couldn't find any. It seems that the new trim piece is one huge piece that includes the trim that goes around the gauges and steering wheel...can anyone confirm that? And last question...do all TL's come pre-wired for Nav or will wiriing have to run for this. I am thinking of doing it myself with the assistance of the Helm's manual, but only if the wiring is already there. Thanks in advance for all the help.

DIY Its not prewired and making the wiring harness is the hardest part. Someone on the board was selling a pre made harness but I cant remember who(search). I just made the harness myself. Its not hard once you have a harness. I love having it and I always seem to need it when Im driving my other cars.

Awesome...i think bolamite's thread will be more helpful, but thanks TL_FO_Life. That DIY doesn't seem to use all the stock parts. I will be researching this some more but it looks like I will attempt the install myself. Can't imagine it would be that hard and I have some experience installing car audio equipment. I already have all the harness's so it should go smooth. Thanks again for the info.
