TL Type S with Comptech Springs

Its not that best pic (typical Daly City weather) but, here is a pic of my wife's Type S with the Comptech springs. Hopefully, we will be able to install the Mugen wing and Manarays (same size 17's) sometime next month.

str8acura: Thanks...The car belongs to my wife, so lowering it and putting on the Mugen wing and changing to the Manaray's is as much as she will approve. If the mud guards scracth the paint, then I am sure they are scratched by now, so I will leave them on.

This is my project car 94 Legend Coupe 6 speed:

I just bought a 95 Legend GS sedan as my next project car.

sidemarker: Thanks...

str8acura: Thanks, Yeah, I would like to paint the mud guards, but as you can see I had the mud guards painted on my White Coupe and its starting to wear away. I have been told there is no guarantee how long painted mud guards will last.

FZ427: I like them.. The ride is a bit stiffer, but not much and it took care of most of the gap. I think it will settle a little more within in a couple of weeks.

What I really like about the Comptech which is apparent from your picture is that the wheel gap above the wheel is the same as it is to the left and right of it.

ie. the wheel well forms a concentric circle around the tire

hemants: I agree, it was not something I new ahead a time. I selected the Comptech springs because of the fact the Comptech is certified by Acura (or least there's an arrangement between the two. I am sure someone will clarify this.). My point is, I would have less hassle regarding warranty to the suspension, I hope...

ferizzo: Thanks...

TLegendGS: This is my fourth Acura, 1 TL Type S and 3 Legends. I hope to buy an NSX in about a year or so.

Attached is a pic of my 1st Gen Coupe.

Nice looking Legend. Would you be selling it any time soon. I know it's your project car but no harm in asking. Also nice lookin TL-S. I'm going with the whole Tein SS Kit.

benzo555: Thanks... I liked the Tracers as well...

Snapple: As a matter of fact I will be selling the White Coupe. As I noted in my post, I just bought a 95 GS sedan and will begin working on doing some mods too it. I plan on getting a major part of the project done in 6 to 8 weeks. It could be sooner. So, if you are serious, let me know. I do have several people who have shown some interest at the Legend Forum. Send me an e-mail at mcruz88@hotmail.com
