Post TL Smokes in New Consumer Reports

No other car seems to have impressed Consumer Reports as much as the 00 TL. It has the absolutely highest possible rank in nearly every category (of which there are at least 12), is a recommended buy from CR, and is grouped with other "upscale sedans" costing much more. I'm surprised more people don't have one of these sweet machines. In about 3 months, I know I will.

2000 TL? That's like a used car now.

Yeah, I know it's relatively aged, but I think the implication's a damn good one. The TL's just a fantastic car that's gotten better with the years, which bodes well for those getting into freshly pressed models.

If it is reliability of the components of the car you are quoting, then I would presume that the data from the older model is better, especially since the 2000 and the 2001 are near mirror models of each other...how would you have reliability data from the 2001s especially since reliability can only be determined through usage ?

just my 2c
