The TL seems to depreciate fast
Even before the TL 3rd...
I just wonder. Is there any good TL experience resale-wise? I mean, with a good value for normal milleage, you are supposed to get 50% (retail) of the initial price after 60 months. Average, it should be after 48 months.
I don't ex-TL owners who got an excellent value for their vehicle. HEre you can get a 2000TL for around 16-18K$CAD, for a car that was at 38-40. A bit low to my taste. Am I wrong?

i find that resale values really depend on the economic condition of a country right now with all the incentives of 0% and no payments for x long there are more people getting into new cars... they may not be very good cars but they are something...so right now its pretty hard to sell a used car and you have to lower the price just to stay competitive.. if you are in the market for a used car its great casue you can get some good deals right now.. if you want to sell your car wait until interest rates go back up and watch the resale value of your car rise once the manufactures cant afford to give these big incentives.... just my worth

...not because of tranny issues.
ndawood has it on the mark. between big manufacturer rebates and super low interest rates, used car lots are packed full of cars. It's simply a supply and demand model; lots of supply, low demand results in low value for ANY used car.
Comparatively, however, the Acura is not supposed to depreciate as fast as other makes/models.
Remember: automobiles ARE NOT an investment. Investments appreciate, not depreciate.
