You guys won't belive this! Yesterday morning they stole my best friends 02 TL Type S right out of his driveway. When he went outside car was gone and the key was inside his house and he only had the car for 4 months! How the hell can they steal it if it suppose to have a Immobilizer system in the car and they most likely didnt use a tow truck?

I don't trust security systems. Most security systems will stop the common or "dumb" criminal. If someone really wants your car, it is gone like the wind. The probability of your car being stolen is lowered but it will not completely remove the chance. Anything digital or computerized can be hacked eventually.

I had a 3G tl rental when my tranny blew up. My 03 type S seats were bigger and more comfortable as for performance my 03 pulled harder then the 05 they gave me and to top it off my 03 got better gas millage And for what the 3G's go for I would defiantly buy the 306hp G35 sedan or the IS 350 over the TL. Acura needs to step it up a bit to compete with the other cars in the TL's class and price range.

One could design that detects the change in the angle of position of the car and any time the angle changes slightly, then it will scream.

I use to own a 2000 Integra GSR 2dr and a 1994 Integra GSR 4dr (Top stolen car in america) and I had spent about $1500 in security for each. It was to the point where it took me 15 minutes each morning to start my own damn car and it' wasn't worth it.
The TL isn't stolen that often, just look at these boards, you hardly hear of it. Go to Honda-Tech, or Team-Integra and you will see thousands of threads on stolen cars. My advice for TL owners is to get a good security system installed by a PROFESSIONAL (install is key) with 2 sirens that have backup batterys, hood/trunk pin, and motion sensors with a sensitivity level. That should run about $500 or so.
