I was out there today picking up my springs and the sales manager (Paul) was kind enough to show me a customers car that just had a supercharger installed.

It was a black TL with chrome 18's and as i mentioned earlier an A-Spec...

just wondering if that person in apart of this forum... if so just wanted to say that your car looks really good......

 

if there is a s/c in GTA, I'd like to see it

Trust me ... it's not that big a deal ... you gotta DRIVE it to believe it (or so I'm told). The guy with the A-spec and s/c ... that's crazy $$$ ... I would have put that into other use. (Maybe I'm saying that 'cause I'm jealous! )

i was told that to purchase the SC and have it installed they wanted somethig like $7800. which is quite a bit of change. im not sure if i would spend that on my car......

i wanted to take a picture of the car but it was raining pretty heavily and i didnt want to take my phone out...... there were also 2 NSX's which were getting fitted with superchargers.........

 

i dont think it worth to put in SC with the tranny problems ....You are just asking for headaches....I would invest it in something else.

 

Unless it's dealer installed and they stand by your tranny.

But more to the point, the TLS already has plenty of power especially for a FWD car. Unless you spend a lot of time on the highway, all you're going to do is decrease your front tire life :-)

 

this dealership has no problems with modding the cars and they are willing to stand behind their work...

i could only assume that if his tranny does fail that the dealership will be able to either replace or fix it for him.... its rare to find dealerships that wont black flag your car if your car has been modded....
