![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am getting ready to lease a 2003 TL-S in a couple of weeks. I had my mind set on a 6-speed CL-S, but changed my minds after looking at residuals -- 65% for TL-S and only 57% for CL-S on a 36-month lease.
Anyway, I love the brushed aluminum trim in the CL-S and hate the green bowling ball trim in the TL-S (I am planning on getting a silver one). I've looked all over for a brushed aluminum trim kit, and can't find it. I think exoticwooddash.com has various trim kits, as well as this site, but they have too many pieces and don't include the door trim pieces. I don't want EVERYTHING to be replaced. Just the stuff that's bowling ball green.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You have to take apart the pieces from the sides of the center console, they pop right off...as for the doors, I believe they have to be drilled off or something, after all pieces are off then you can wrap them in silver aluminum sticky paper...I forget what the actual name is...they are a few people who have done this mod...looks great IMO...I'm also getting a 03 TL-S in about a month from now and was thinking of doing the same thing...looks especially hot if you are getting the ebony interior!

Thanks for the info. I would love to see some pictures and maybe a description of the technique. When and if you do it, let me know! If anyone out there has done it, please post some info.
The idea sounds simple, hence very appealing, I am just a bit concerned about the look and the durability. Anyway in the immortal words of the robot (whatever the heck his name was) from "Short Circuit".... "I NEED MORE INFO"

Thanks this is helpful. I checked out that thread, but has no pictures of complete work -- installed. Chien did a great job though.
I wish he (or someone else) would post a description of the process, the costs, pics of the final resul, how durable it is, how well it looks....
Chien, if you are out there, please help. Thanks.
