TL-S and CL-S wheels look slightly different?

I was doing some group photo shoots with my friend's CL-S yesterday and I've noticed that the width and the angle of the spokes are slightly different on his CL-S and my TL-S. Do anyone of you notice that? I always thought that the wheels are exactly the same. BTW, I'm in Canada, so my wheels are 17"x7".

Here are few other differences just by looking around:
- the obvious front end, back end, lights, number of doors.

- seats (CL-S has better shoulder support, more perforated surface, TL-S more comfy)
- center backseat (CL-S has storage compartment, TL-S is used for 5th seat)
- speakers system (CL-S has 2 tweeters & 4 mids, TL-S has 4 mids & a subwoofer)
- door locks (CL-S flushed, TL-S raised)
- grill and different inner mesh (TL-S bigger and honeycombed)
- front Acura symbol is bigger and puncture through (TL-S)
- steering wheel Acura logo (CL-S engraved, TL-S emblemed)
- key and alarm remote (CL-S red Acura logo, black remote and TL-S white Acura logo, silver/titanium remote)
- side mirrors (CL-S smaller/round, TL-S bigger/square)
- side mirror mount (CL-S flat black, TL-S color-matched)
- B-pillars (CL-S flat black, TL-S shiny black)
- cupholders (TL-S more supportive)
- exhaust tips (CL-S square, TL-S round)
- driver's auto window roll-up (TL-S only)

Yes. The day I bought my TL-S. The sales told me already. He said the CL-S rim is having a problem. It scratch too easily because of the design. Something to do with the center of the wheel, and the TL-S had corrected the problem.

CL-S rims/tires are 17"x7"
TL-S rims/tires are 17"x6.5"

BTW, great list of differences. We should archive those so when people ask, they can just look at that list!!

bb_00 can you verify for certain that your Canadian-spec '02 TL-S rims are definitely 17"X7". We've gone around and around on this before. All the Acura publications state US-spec are 17" X 6.5" and Canadian-spec are 17" X 7" but no one has *visually* confirmed this is true. We've heard rumors that the rims were reduced in width due to crash-worthiness-related problems. We want the facts....

The CL-S wheel are indeed more "In" at the center and more "Out" on the edge. (Sorry for the description, I'm not exactly sure how describe them.) The TL-S rim is more "flat".

You got that right Juniorbean! I can't believe how many times this question pop's up! Put it in the FAQ section

Anyway, I remember what your talking about Pianoman. This is that thread about Canadian TL-S wheel debate.

As for the differences, I was very surprised how big the list is. Before I got the TL-S, I thought the only differences are the obvious ones and the interior is exactly the same.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'll check on the wheels next time I do a rotation.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Also, the width of each spoke seems to be slightly wider on the TL-S.
