2002 stock Type S wud have an edge
if u compared 2002 TL-P with those mods and a stock Type S... it wud be pretty close to call ... the TL-P is faster somehow compared to the 99-01' models... how they did it while keeping from what it seems everything the same, is beyond me though

IMO it would be very close. You may win or lose by less than a car length..
I remember when I had just CAI + Pullies on my 2000 TL-p.
I beat an auto Maxima.. which in turn beat the TL-type S...
Then the type S wanted to race ( if your in this board show ur face: young asian guy early 20's - 02 Aegean Blue TL-S w/ CAI in Ontario Calif.)
Off the line I was ahead by almost a car... around 80mph is when he started to inch away... We shut it down around 90 when he was almost a car lenth ahead...

Last weekend at the runs, there was a older 2001 Accord V6 coupe which was pretty fast(allmotor)...
I talked to the guy, he had I/H/P/E/Apexi VAFC
This guy smoked a White TL-S ( probably stock )
Didnt even race up to 50 mph... TL-S was behind a car and a half from my standpoint halfway down the track...
The TL-S was so pisssed he came back and raced a Stock Green Accord. Walked all over the Av6 like 4 car lenghts..

i can tell you this....
My 02CLP, have CAI, Denso, UR pulleys, OBX headers, and i am making 197hp at the wheel, and my friend's STOCK typeS dynoed at 187hps at the wheel..... I can tell you for sure, if you have a 99TLP, and against a stock 02 TLS, YOU WILL LOOSE! imagine i have done soo much add-ons to the car and only 10-14hps more than a typeS... so you can forget about winning it.... off the line you wont see too much diff, but once at higher rpm, you will see! try them on freeway!
