Since we're being smartasses here ... The TL-S brochure "boasts" that max torque (232 lb.-ft) is delivered from 3500-5500 rpms.

Man your a fucking moron. Go drive your car off a cliff. I'll take pictures of my 02 NBP TL-S to prove you wrong. Also I almost got a anthracite TL-S 02 instead of NBP but I went with black, you wrong again they make 02 TL-S in anthracite. Go dream about having a type S and study it some more.

Not a TL-P hater nor am I descriminating against them or Canadians (i still think it's funny how they all say eh lol), in fact I think the TL-P seats are more comfortable than the TL-S seats and it's really ONLY a half a second quicker than a 00-03 TL-P! It's just that you write all this technical data and you know like every single thing about it, but you don't have one?

i always read and do search around about all the cars, i bought my TL so i know all the info i need to know, and TL-P is 4000 cheaper than a TL-S with little difference, i couldn't see TL-S is a lot faster in city driving. you can do a lot with 4000 dollars, enough for me to pay a full year of tution fee

understanding ur car is the first step of owning a car, grow up kiddo

having a TL-S isn't everything, not even a M3

Just to clarify, there is no Anthracite Metallic 2002 TL Type S. Anthracite was offered as a TL-P color in 2002, and was officially a "new" color for the Type S models in 2003. Perhaps when you picked up your '02 NBP TL-S, you saw a TL-P in Anthracite or a factory error.

I distinctly remember this because when I bought my 2003, I asked a bunch of people what color I should get and a lot of people said I should get Anthracite since it was a new color for the 2003 Type S's. If I go digging through my stuff enough I can probably find the brochures which say the same thing.
