THe TL is NOT a good car for the mafia!!

My kids could care less about any feature on any of my cars but they LOVE the access point behind the arm rest into the trunk.

They have been passing things back and forth through the hole, using flashlights to peer into the trunk, trying to get their heads stuck etc.

My older son decided he wanted to wait in the trunk while I told his mother to sit in the back seat and see if she notices the coolest feature of all! The idea being that when she would discover the arm rest and pull it down, my son would reach out and place a drink in the holder.

Well, somehow, his moving around in the trunk triggered the alarm, even when the doors were not locked!?!

The TL has a 'hidden body alarm!?!'

yes a shock alarm is installed--alarm must have been set
assuming someone tries to jack the car up for the tires,, or disturbs its balance when breaking a side window--alarm triggers

handy to remind you when the kids were left playing in the trunk for several hours....

I'm aware of shock alarms but I would not think that it would go off unless it were activated. This went off with the doors being unlocked.

Believe me, we NEVER allow the kids to play in the cars and have informed them of the many horror stories. I just cut them some slack this one time to explore things.
