You really dig that copper color huh? Personally, i dont like it and it probably would be harder to sell the car later since it was not a very popular color. For what its worth, I did see a TL painted that color a few months ago. It was surely a repaint although I must say that as it is a multistage paint, its metallic layer was very evenly applied.

Even better question is WHY did Acura offer the car in that hunter green color? I have only seen ONE of those on the road. Even the dealer told me when i bought my TL that he had yet to sell a green one, and he is a very high volume dealer in a metropolitan area.

Surely I'll admit the copper color is way more interesting than the hunter green color.

I really...really..really wanted that red color on my Type S, but of course they don't come in that color for the S's. So, I settled for White Diamond Pearl which is a sweet color too. But damn that red looks good.

you mean this one? to be honest it wasnt my first choice but now i wouldn't want any other. Its Noble Green Pearl and only advailable on the Type S, and your right it's not a color that everyone and his brother has.

Okay so now I've seen two of them...

Actually its not that the green is a bad color, its just that it doesnt jump out at you. It would probably be slick if it was done with a high metallic topcoat.

CHROME!??? When the sun would shine and reflect off it, it would appear to glow like a meteor! Everybody on the road would be blinded and go crashing into trees, guardrails...total pandemonium.... hrmmmmmm, almost sounds like it would be fun to drive

funny stuff. I cant imagine what it would cost to actually chrome a whole car. It would have to be totally gutted down to the body and frame and i dont know if there is even a big enough chroming tank in the world to dunk it in. The closest thing to it was the aluminum skinned Delorean in the 1980s and the Audi A8 show car before it wnet into production, but both of those were just polished aluminum.

I agree that Noble Green is not my type of color. My dealer was begging me to take a Noble Green Type S. Unique or no (even though it wasn't available on the TL Premium, it is an Accord color), I went with the Anthracite, a TL only color. I couldn't be happier.

Again, IMO it could have been a cool color had they made it metallic color, with either silver or gold flecks.

I actually love that copper color, even though I don't think it would look that hot on a tl. I saw a cl-s painted that color at a meet I went to last year, and it looked so hot. I first saw that color on a Volvo C70 and was thinking of buying one, but they are so rare in that color, it was pretty much impossible. I think that color is really meant for sport cars(coupes) not sedans.
