Hi guys, I thought I'd register and ask this here since I figured you guys would know best.

I have this guy telling me that he beat a bpu tt supra with a 3.2 TL w/ the following mods:

Comptech Headers/Supercharger, Unichip, 50 shot NOS.

What type of 1/4 mile times should he be putting down, and also what about hp to the wheels?

I figure he's bs'ing b/c I've never heard of a car making 250 hp from those types of mods.

No way, he cant. Plus the Comptech supercharger isnt even out yet...but with headers/intake/exhaust he might get 230hp to the FRONT wheels and this is IF its a type S.

Oh does he have a link to where he is saying this BS?

Thanks, I figured I was right, but since I don't own the car I figured I'd ask those that do. That's hilarious that the supercharger isn't even available yet.

if those mods are actualy on his tl what kinda hp should he be pushing at the wheels? a bpu supra puts down ne where between 380rwhp-420rwhp..but thats only numbers..also driver is a main factor..but i doubt a tl even with nose and sc will be pushing ne where around 350fwhp(correct me if i am wrong) i'll call bs on this for now and i know what supras are capable of(i hav eone) my stock supra hangs with c5 vettes going 12.6(street tires) at the track and pushing ne where around 390-470hp.

haha..i dont think they know much about supras...a v6 supra?? lol
common mistake but its really an inline 6 for both the na and the tt and its funny how they argue about the price when its all simply supply/demand=)
no way that guy beat it..he said..i beat a supra off the line..oh wow! that could be possibly true..but the supra will pass it very very shortly.=)

Nope I have the same mods... without all the PC/wireless lan stuff. And I don't have the 2 Panasonic 5.8's. And I don't have a spolier.

ok, may be he wasnt. or may be it was just u who wanted to run and he didnt even care(happend to me many times lol but....how do i know? im all da way here in jerzy! but do you know what a bpu supra is though? u put bpu's on on ur sig and then a list of whatever mods u got..bpu stand for Basic Performance Upgrade for SUPRAS...it consists of a downpipe,BCC,Boost controller,exhasut...how would you even know it was a turbo supra ? or even bpu? if it was a stock NA supra..it would have 220hp and you could've beaten it..but a bpu supra?? hm...i duno.
