Post TL

I was driving back from school today and a truck was going in and out of my lane like a drunk. probably an old lady. Anyway, I shifted down, pushed the gas and got outta there. I just realized that the incident would have been scarier in any other car and the TL just did its subtle job. the more I drive it, the more it fits me.

I like this car.

Anyone agree with me...

I feel you. I really think this car was meant for me. Maybe it's just an infatuated perception, but I really do think this car was meant for me. No regrets of buying this car instead of a 3-series.

My wife says I haven't been as into a car like this since I restored a 76 olds cutless, LE, rally package, buckets, 350 V8, Turbo 350 trans with factory slapshift. She says I'm going through mid life crises, I said and your point is? I started my mid life crises @ 20...

When I got my other car, I was afraid that I'd start complaining about the TL, but NO WAY! The TL is for me, the perfect car because it is extremely practical, yet fun, smart-looking, and has a great stable drive experience. Yeah, I have a few mods which help (ie better tires and brakes), but overall even stock it was really great.
I watched as a Cavalier ran a red yesterday and was smacked and spung around by a Jetta, all while feeling really safe in my TL. I totally know what you mean Bobatimez. We are all very lucky to drive such a nice car.

Thumbs up

The car is definitely nice... but on the other hand I think you'd feel similarly in any new luxury car... but it does feel nice to know that the desicion you've made on choosing a TL was right....

Just my 2 cents...

It's been been 19 months so it's nothing new. I feel that i like it more than ever before, probably cuz of mods.

Yeah, the mods are like my recharger every so often. Refreshes me and the car. I think I might keep these cars for awhile. Finally found ones that I REALLY like. Then again, ask me again when I have 90k miles...(RL? TL-S?,MDX? NSX? )
