TL 2000 .. No start.. Shifter doesn't move
My 2000 TL .. park on driveway overnight..doesn't start in morning .. try to chekc Batt and everything is fine.. Me and friend try to move car but car even won't let us to shift gear shifter to N position so we can push inside home .. use key to unlock shifter by put in little hole beside shifter and then moved it.. I don't even hear click in gear shifter ..when i press break.. we checked every single fuse in all three location of car..
Turn key on ON postion.. used a wire to jump starter of car..it's crank and start the car ..and Idle fine.. but when i press break to shift gear..won't let me shift it..
Turn it off.. try to start again.. nutting and same problem.. means starter is good..
Break switch is fine and lights works OK... it's just like if you levae your car in drive postion and try to start.. but in my case i'm not even able to use shifter ..
Please help

Sounds like a ignition switch, or a gear select switch/sensor
