i suggest the turtle wax stuff that comes in a white and green box, i forget the name of it but it comes with an applicator that looks like a sponge and it works great. not like the spray ones that fly off ur tires when you go more than 10mph.

i have the Eagle one and McGuires... both do a really good job. go for the one in the purple bottle. it lasts about a week (in this horrible weather... in the summer it used to go a little longer)

The best kind, hands down is 3M Tire Dressing. It is quite expensive at around $15 a bottle, but it lasts a long time and doesn't fling all over the car. I would use anything besides those messy "gel" tire dressings, I absolutely hate those.

I use the Meguiars Gold Class ENDURANCE TIRE PROTECTACT GEL
This is great stuff for the money & last a long time. If you follow the directions there should not be any runs or drips from this stuff.

I get spin off with all of them...i usually apply, wait 15 min...wipe off excess...and wipe again when i drive the car.
Most of the stuff don't crack ur tires or turn it brown like the first generation ones did...i think it was due to the silicon that they don't use anymore.
The McGuires gel one is good...it last long..and is extra shinny. THere is only one complaint about it. Since it's a gel instead of a spray... dirt and road grime get stuck to the gel. And when you wash ur tire the next time, you will notice that it's harder to clean because the dirt and road grime doesn't come off that easily.

I use silicone. It's what the dealership uses to dress your tires when you get your car detailed. Be careful though it will splatter if you done let it dry before driving.

I mix the silicone with any other brand of tire dressing and that gives me the wet look of silicone and the fast drying action of a conventional tire dressing. Plus I don't have to spend as much money on tire detailing.
