Tips on removing fog light housing

I just ordered my new lens since a rock destroyed my original fog lens, why they used glass instead of Lexan, I don't know.

Anyway, are there any tricks for removing the lens from the bumper. When I replaced my bulb a while back, I just reached from underneath after removing the plastic underbody guards. After removing the bolt, the lens should pop out, but it doesn't. Any tricks on getting it out without breaking it by using a flathead screwdriver?

It just might be because of the sand and dirt caught in there. Try to grab all 4 corners. If some slight force doesn't get it out then force it. I sometimes use this tool that is used for removing nails.. kinda looks like a flat head scew driver but with a split and bend. Maybe a strong fork? something with more of an arch.
