Welcome to the forum
For details on oil changes and how to do it yourself, scroll down thru the main list of Gen 2 threads.
Most of us have no trust in quick lube places, they often overtighten the oil drain plug and cause serious damage. If you are the first one do do an oil change after the quickie place- expect to find an overtight oil filter too.

Basically our cars use any good brand oil- it holds 4.6 quarts- you can throw in the full 5 and its ok,
Many of us pay the extra for Fully Synthetic oil and go longer between changes- or drive like race cars and change normal interval.
A good filter is key to a good oil change

Have a good read and decide for yourself
