I wanted to take the front liscence plate down from the bumper since it looks hella ugly.

I went to the canadian tire to check out some tools to do the job and Octane booster caught my sight.

It had 4 canister with concentrated octane.

I had to fill the gas up pretty soon so I decided to give it a shot.


After putting Sunoco 94 Octane fuel, I added a canister of Pennzoil Octane booster..

First, It didnt seem to work at all but I slowly began to see some difference in power..

It might have been me who felt that but.. It felt like I got 10~20 horses boost.

Gas Milage too. i was getting 160~170 km/ half of the tank, (not flooring the car once) but I have a tick left from the half of the tank, and still have 210 km on the kilometer (Did 2~3 insane Driving too... involving a race...)

I just wanted to share the experience with you and would like to ask if there would be anything bad when I put it every gas fill-up.

i never trust those fuel addictives, as they only works on older and high mileage cars

i always get 220-250km at half tank, once i got 400km on half tank with all hwy

10 - 20 horsepower is a lot!! (Sometimes I think people estimate way too high here...not meant to be offensive). I doubt you got that just from adding the octane booster. Anyway, glad you felt you got some use out of it! I've never tried it, myself. In the end, did you take off your front plate? (Illegal here in Ontario)

Well I took it off for 2 days and after seeing hundreds of cop cars around me... I pretty much gor scared of getting busted. Well, I took it back on.

And it depends on where you drive, how long you drive (often and short driving seems to drink more gas)..
