How do you know if your EGR or whatever the recall was is clogged? What are the symptoms and what happens?

Thanks

Usually if there is a problem with your EGR valve the check engine light will come on, because our car is equipped with OBD II so don't worry about it.

Ya, I got that letter in the mail too.. It doesn't say to get it replaced as a recall, it just says they are extending the warrantee on it if something happens.

so basically, you would not notice any difference in performance or noise? my car sounds like it gargles at about 3000 rpms. Its pretty loud and power diminishes at points. My friend was saying it could be that my engine is not getting enough air. I just thought that since Acura said, the problem had something to do with the air flow, this could be it.

Thanks

Rosh
