i used silicone...and it seems to be fine...one light had condensation for a while, but after i added some more sealant, it seems the problem has gone away
i also helped another guy with his, and for that one, we didnt even add silicone...jus the original sealant. but it hasn't been tested for leaks yet...so don't kno if that works

The trick is to use the original sealant. I used a little bit of silicone on the top of the lights after the lights were put back together just to be safe. I have no leaks or any moisture in my lights since the day I did it.
