..if in fact my slipping tranny is the tranny problem everyone else seems to be having. I don't want to be going thru 3-4 trannies especially if the warranty expires in a few years. I'd rather sell it and let someone else deal with the headache. I searched Autotrader and it looks like a 40K mile TL-S is going for about $23K in NC. KBB is $17.5K so I'm sure the Acura dealer will try to screw me on the trade-in.

I'm thinking about getting an SUV again since I now have two kids and could use some extra room. Used MDX wouldn't be bad (appx. $35K used? Yikes!), but I'm starting to think a brand new FX35 AWD at $39K might be the best bet. I will probably just wait until I find a good used one to reduce the sticker shock.

Anyone test drive an FX35 yet? How does it compare to an MDX?
