COUNT ME IN if modded and shipped for around $200. If modded, will it now be legal in CA? Ceramic coated maybe>? any advice to pass visual inspection? Really strict here in Sunny Diego :shakehead

How about resonance on the orignal XS headers? Does anyone know the dyno numbers for the XS? I would like to purchase a set as well if their is no resonance and good dyno numbers are produced.
The only other header I can think of in this price range would be the DC Headers, but who knows when we'll see stock for those again...

Most of the people that had resonance , fixed it after tightening there screws down or taking off there heat sheild.. I put OBX headers on 4-5 months ago, perrrfect no resonance and just had my tranny rebuilt and now am getting a annoying resonance from down around the heat shield area.. I only happens at certain RPM's and only while driving!! If im in park and rev no noise if im in nuetral and rev no noise when i drive at 30-35 noise..Annoying, taking it to the shop wendsday to remove the heat shield and tighten the bolts to the CAT!

Other than the intake exterior wise the motors are Identical. The only motor that needs a different header is the CL-S6 and the motor itself isnt different, the header has to be different to clear the motor mount.

i saw the j32a2 6spd swapped eg civic. that car is tight and hauls ass. i still think my cl-s6 can hang with it. i saw the headers in person. welds look great. only thing i didnt like is that on top of the headers, where the bend it and welded onto the adapter (by the head) the front headers had a flat spot on the top. not sure about the rear one.
they wont be legal as in passing inspection. theirs a reason why comptech is so expensive, they paid the price to make them smog and visually legal with documents.
if he were to make these legal expect to see the price up around $800 and a longer wait. u can get them ceramic coated your self or send them to a shop.
id pick up a set but going boost and it would be a waste of money. sry richie
