are these prices right?

hi all, haven't been here lately but glad the forum appears well. anyhow, i just got quoted $23.9k for a CPO'd '03 TL with 17k miles on it. i am about to finally get that 3.2 (wish it were a type S) and was surprised since edmunds and kbb both say it should be quite a bit more. could this be because of the new model that came out?

maybe i ought to be a little careful with this particular purchase. i just found out about the transmission problems. the car i'm checking out has 17k miles on it. has to be an early model so it could be part of the "bad batch". the CPO is definitely a good to have in this case. how concerned should i be?
