just talked to the dealer and they've told me that there was only one recall for 2000TL. THe only recall was the seatbelt buckle. Hope this ends all the confusions for 2000 TL owners

 

when you say "recall" is that the same as "service bulletins"? just wondering, thanks.

I don't think so. Recalls are dangerous, TSB are just to fix minor annoyances.

 

yeah, for a recall theyll send you a letter and tell you to have it fixed

for a tsb theyll only fix it if you complain about it

RECALL = MAJOR= Covered even if not in warranty, older, etc.

TSB = minor, well somestimes major like all 94-97 TBIrd trannys DYING within 100k miles but anyhow, means will only be fixed under warrranty -- after warranty they dont have to fix it
