Is there any sound to aftermarket headers?

I was wondering what / if any sound do aftermarket headers make as opposed to the stock ones.

There really isn't any sound difference with headers. You may notice a slightly lower rumble (very slight with stock mufflers... almost not noticable) from the exhaust, since more air is flowing now... but that's it

2lo - sorry i never answered your pm, been mad busy lately...loved those pics of your car from the other post though, that ****s hot!

i've been wondering the same thing. im trying to keep my car stock looking/sounding, but i'd love the extra performance from the headers, esecially those cheap obx ones!

anbody with a lift should be able to

do it in 2 hours. It's just bolt on stuff. So $250 is way too high. Midas's labor rates can't be more than $60 an hour. I'm going to try Ferizzos myself with just jackstands and tourque wrench. I'm sure it can be done in 4 hours or less.
