Post Theft Deterrent System

Where can I get the specs for the TL theft deterrent system. My insurance company is asking what does it cover:

Anti-hot-wiring circuit (I think so)
open door, hood and trunk sensor (yes)
window id system (I think so)
armored steel sterring column collar (?)
automobile sutoff and reset (I think so)
Glass, motion, ultrasonic, and/or vibration sensor
hood restraint and backup battery system

I know it has an imobilizer that cuts off the fuel system if a key is not a "coded" key.

Any help would be much appreciated.

John

I'm not sure where you can get the specs other than what the instruction manual says but here's what I know:

Anti-hot-wiring circuit (Yes, immobilizer)
open door, hood and trunk sensor (Yes to all)
window id system (what's that?)
armored steel sterring column collar (I doubt it?)
automobile sutoff and reset (I think so)
Glass, motion, ultrasonic, and/or vibration sensor
hood restraint and backup battery system (none of the above)

Window ID system is to etch some ID numbers on every window glass in your car. Its suppose to deter thieves from stealing your car because of the cost involved in replaceing all the windows before they can sell the car to the black market.

If its got what the TL has its not much. But Acura is correct Theft Deterent System I don't think the average joy rider could steal the car. I know very little about the factory system. I had my Cliford installed on day 2 of ownership. Last week I took the car in for an oil change & put the Clifford in valet mode. The factory alarm works when the Clifford is off. I pushed the Clifford remote to open the car & the trunk before I unlocked the door with the key to turn off the factory alarm. The horn honk was a nice tune.
