Temple of VTEC has '04 TL Concept Photos!
Currently, they are touching up the somewhat blurry shots they were able to take of the 2004 TL. They said photos will be up as soon as they finish touching up the photos...www.vtec.net

Tell me the tailights and headlights are running up the sides! If so, they can keep it...I don't mind the pillars and fenders from what I can see...

OUTSTANDING!!! What a great look! Better than I could ever hoped for! Back side window has a bit of the VW Phaeton in it... but that's good. Love the way the back lights come around to the sides! It's official, I'm waiting for it!

If what I see in those shots (barely) is anything like what the new '04 TL-S will look like... it'll be a hit, and you'll see 'em all over the road like you USED to see ES300's all over the road a few years back when it actually looked like a car, not a fish (es300).
I trusted Acura not to be as drastic w/ their styling as Nissan has been as of late, and w/ the advent of the TSX, and now this similarly appearing TL... i realized that they have not disappointed me.
I'm impressed.

the headlights look like those found on the new tsx.......nice. also the rear reminds me of the rx8 almost, and it looks like they didn't mess up the new TL at all.:wow: :licka:

well fellas.......I think Acura might have a good opportunity to make a very loud statement with this concept. It will up to the production model and the specs to determine if this is a hit or not.
But it will definately be an improvement over the current model. It should be faster, handle better, and have a much classier interior. We just have to wait and see.....\
I predict........ 3.5 290hp/260lbT FWD....with 17's standard and 18's optional, Hi and Low HID's, and the TXS interior.
The way I see it, people buying Accord EX V6 should of waited 6 months, and they would of have the real deal. Interior is Sweet!!, but the exterior is just plain Vanilla.
Let me just say this....Accord Coupe Six Speed.... is a whole different story. I like it!!! I don't mind being quicker than my CL-S or G35, it has a manual tranny. Too bad it does have a LSD...or else it would be even faster.

I agree with the comments on TOV. It's a dead ringer for the VW Phaeton, with a different taillight setup. Looks good despite blurred pics.

The rear end looks a bit like BMer 3 series..
I bet the weight distribution is closer now.. maybe 60/40 or higher. I'm hopin it's gonna be all wheel drive platform like MDX and the new RL. esp if it's gonna be close to 300 hp.
Oh..man...I'm so want to trade in.... :I It looks great i think.

Acura will hit another homerun w/ this TL if they keep that price as close to $30,000 as physically possible ...however, w/ the cost of a TSX already being at that mark.. i'm thinking $35,000 .. and therefore if it's AWD .. it'll definitely be actively competing w/ Audi/BMW/Merc. sales in a way like never before ..
