Tein High Tech Springs (pics inside)

I finally got a good picture of the drop of the Tein High Tech Springs I installed. Pretty much like the comptechs, except the springs are cheaper, and they also ride really nice .

Check out the pics here

Cdn A-Spec Pics

These springs with the Neuspeed sways make a pretty good handling package. Now to get rid of the crap Michelins....

I didn't measure it before, so I couldn't tell you. Like I said before, from the pictures I've seen, it seems the same as comptech. I like the height, not too low, but low enough. Hope you enjoy the springs as much as I do.

njtls: I was going to do bigger rims but I like the stock look (and I don't have the cash), but I'm going Nitto NT-450s 225/50/17 for tires in the spring.

The Tein High Techs are the new ones. Less of a drop (supposed to be 1.5 fr, 1.0 rr)

COmptech definately gives is a better stance...not much, but slightly, and more noticable than that, so I'm glad I didnt jump on the tein bandwagon, but any springs (not OE) are better than none.

Looks nice. I'd say it's closer to the H&R OE drop but without the rear sagging.

I'd recommend getting some SP9000's or Firehawk SZ50 or Toyo TS1 in 215/50/17 for your rims and then getting some cheap 16's for winter.

Deuce: Well you see since I'm Canadian, I bought the car there, then since I'm married to an American, I moved here. So once I transfer everything over when I get my residency, I'll have the only A-Spec registered in the US.

hemants: I'll check if any of those come in 2225/50/17, I'd like the wider tire, and so far the Nittos are the nicest ones in that size (I had a set of NT555s on my mustang (275/40/17) and loved them)

Thanks for the comments

I think it looks nice, but honestly I can hardly tell the car is dropped. It looks almost the same as mine. Does CT drop the car more than the Tein springs do???

Yes, CT drop is about 2/1.5 front/back.

I mean I can tell that there's a slight drop over mine, but it nearly unnoticeable. Is there any way to drop the car any more with the tein springs?

Get the Tein S Tech springs. I didn't want a big drop, just the handling increase.

Not really :-) You'd best pick another spring as CdnASpec says, maybe the Tien S Tech (dunno the specs)

I think what you are probably looking for is the H&R sport that is designed for the TL 50103. That would be lower than what I see above, and less or no rake compared with Comptech.
