several TL owners have them on their cars...but I'm not sure about any first gen's
as far as installation goes, I'd have a pro install them for me...suspension is beyond my level of skill

installation is easy. but annoying and time consuming. i had teins, i moved to h&r, i find the current setup better for me. some people love the teins. so its all a matter of opinion.
