Teflon coating?

Wink Teflon coating?

hey everyone,

does anybody know anything about teflon coating? i visited a teflon coat shop the other day and he'll hook up a full coat for $250...is it worth it? the guy sounded pretty convincing and the examples i saw were damn impressive. he showed me an old old crx that looked brand new! thanks for input.

Buy the z-1,z-2,z-5,z-6

Looks amazing on my Aegean Blue Pearl TL-S It's a show car polish.

You'll save aprox $194.00 Spend it on some mods.

IMO You'll be glad you did!

i tried looking through the product info, but couldn't really find anything about how long the zainobros show car polish lasts...do you know?

oops nevermind i found it...kinda hasty...the thing with teflon
coating is that it lasts 6 years...so that crx has had teflon applied to it over time in intervals of 6 yrs.

” There are also highly advertised Teflon based products on the market. It is my understanding that it requires a 600 plus degree environment to bond Teflon to your paint. So, unless you are applying it with a flamethrower, you may not be getting all you paid for. “

Call me lazy, but I scrolled through the zaino site and did not see how long this coating is supposed to last. Does anyone know off the top of their head? I am lookig for something with a desent finish that does not have to be re applicated every 2-3 months like my current wax. Thanks in advance.

For info. on Zaino products... go here...
The guys @ TCCoA (Thunderbird Cougar Club ...) Swear by it... ask them, they have group deals going on sometimes maybe they'll lets some people in... http://www.tccoa.com/articles/misc/zaino/
There's 2 reviews of the stuff from TCCoA guys and a review from an F-Body site (thats chev's I think...)
