Post Tann question about rolling my fenders

Does rolling fenders have any bad effects to the body? Also what is exactly done when they do the rolling? I think I might have to get mined rolled when I put on the 18x8.5 rims. Just wondered if it is worth it. Don't want to hurt my baby.

rolling your fenders should not have any bad effects on the body. a fender roller machine is used to roll the inside of your fenders out a bit to avoid rubbing commonly associated with putting larger wheels on car

The only thing you might have to worry about is the chipping/cracking of the paint where it creases. If done right, shouldn't happen!

Don't forget about that stupid plastic tab that's sticking in from the rear fender/bumper. If that's all that's rubbing, just need to saw that tab off!

Donte,
Like everyone said,
it won't really damage the body as long as you watch out when rolling the rear fenders (if done to fast the paint will crack or chip) usually shops do it with a wood baseball bat.
As for the front, find the tab along the inner fender(where the push tabs are) there should be about five. Just find each push tab and bend the bracket upward (kind of like rolling the fenders) go all the way around the fender untill your done! Good luck!

Oh Sh*t I forgot about the plastic bumper!!!thanx Socal28!!
there is a piece of the bumper that you'll need to shave off toward the rear of the wheel well, I just got a razor blade and started shaving until it cleared..
