taking off wood trim kit

Just wondering if anyone has taken off the aftermarket wood trim kit(non oem). I've had it on for about 2 years, but don't like it anymore. Wanted to know how easy it is to take off and if it leaves any marks on the black plastic. thanks

nope you can remove it but it leave lots of sticky adhesive and only way you can take it out is with a stronger thinner but that messes up the plastic and everything best trade interior parts with someone who wants it
