synthetic tranny fluid, good idea?
Does anybody believe in synthetic tranny fluid?
If so, will it do any good in preventing a tranny failure or allow the tranny to shift quicker?

Don't bother. Redline Oil's themselves recommends we use nothing but Honda's ATF.
Besides, you wouldn't want any possible excuse the dealer/Acura may use to decline a warranty coverage for the tranny because you didn't use the oil they state to use. Anything is possible.

I have a mechanic that services all my cars. He is Honda certified but owns his on shop. His advise is also to USE ONLY Honda Transmision fluid. Is has to do with the tranny seals...something about premature wear or leakage (I forgot. It was a couple fo years ago)
