Switching to Redline. Oil filter?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched a little for the answer :o

I have decided to make the switch to Redline at my next oil change interval (13000 as the little sticker says in my car)

My question is the acura filter sufficient to maintain at least a 5000 mile interval for oil changes with synthetic redline oil? RoadRage any input?

If not, what filter would anyone recommend? Why? Why Not?

I don't race my car too often But I like to feel the power of the horses from time to time.

Any input desired, thanx!

I go 7500 miles between changes with either the Honda or the Purolator listed on my sig. I have cut a few of them open and have never seen any filter fracture (of the filter media). That is really the only issue around extended drains with this oil. I have done enough oil analyses over the years to feel 100% confident of that.

US or JDM

Road Rage
I'm assuming you are using the US sourced Honda filter and not the JDM? A link from a previous post stated there are differences. Here's the link
