:( Switched to full sythetic

Done the oil change to my new car this morning.

1. overfill the engine by putting full 5 qt. oil in it. What could be the consequences?

2. Lost my torque wrench, forgot to pick it up from the ground.

3. After lying one the ground, I happen to sit on the drivers seat, now the leather is dirty.

4. Got several scrap on my hands.

5. Put the jack next to the jack point metalsheet, ( seems that is should be put directly under the metalsheet.), Also wonder whats the consequences.

6. The engine feels completely different now. It is quieter now, but seems not as easy to rev to 4500rpm as it did when it has the factory oil. The Mobile1 5w30 is more viscous than the factory 5w20?

Please give your comments, thanks

5 quarts is fine. It's 4.6 quarts plus the capacity of the oil filter. If you use a regular size filter, then 5 quarts is just about perfect.

Wrench... can't blame anybody but yourself. But, did you do the oil change some place else? I mean, why can't you go back and get it??

Pick up some leather cleaner and get to work. Stop whining. :P

Oh, poor baby.

Should be OK as long as the frame is not dented in or anything. But remember next time to place the jack directly on to the jacking point.

Like fsttyms1 said, probably just your imagination.

I always fill the filter first before installing it.... Generally I use 4.6 quarts.

that's actually a good idea that i want to try. do you find it a little tricky? if i remember correctly, the filter on the tl goes in at an angle and i wonder if you wind up spilling some oil.

there is no need to fill it, but if you feel that you want to just dont fill it to the top, and its not that big of an angle so you wont spill it, just dont spin it fast or it will all come whipping out
