Swiss Cheese Front Bumper

My front bumper has a RIDICULOUS number of rock chips. I was thinking about just spraying it down with matching paint.. Just so it's not as noticeable. There's no point in me getting my bumper professionally redone since I drive my car to and from school (500+ miles one way) at least twice a year, which is when the rock chips occur.

Any opinions on this?

Does Acura/Honda even sell a spraypaint that would match?

Thanks.

I'll take a pic when I get a chance...

I'll also show you guys where I ripped off some paint trying to scratch some crap on my bumper with my fingernail

Call me picky, but I'm not a fan of car bras/masks.

in order for it not tl look worse than it is, you will have t sand the WHOLE thing down to get all the chips out, then primer and paint and clear. ther is NO 10 dollar fix. have it done right and have the clear bra put on, or put up with it. i have 164,000 miles on my tl and it looks liike that too. and i have resprayed the front bumper twice. a bra, or teh clear bra is teh only thing thats going to keep it from doing it all over

IF the chips are small u can go to honda/acura dealer or even autozone and get touch up paint, just clean and prime it first. thats the $10-$15 fix. im in CT and we have a car place here that makes factory paint into spray cans and then u could take the bumper off and use that. unfortunately its $25 a can and u might need 2 to do the whole bumper , plus $5 flex primer and $5 clearcoat. PM me if u got anyquestions.

pick up your local phone book and look in the yellow pages. most automotive paint stores (not ones like autozone) will or can mix and put into a spray can for you
