Talking Sway Bars

Hello Everyone,

I drive a 2000 TL and I recently installed the Wings West W-Type Kit and it looked great on my car. My next project on my TL is to make my ride more stable and make quick turns on corners.

My first question to all of you is are there any differences between the Eibach Anti-Roll Bars compared to the Neuspeed Sway Bars?

My second question is other than the Neuspeed front upper strut bar and the front lower-tie bars, do they make anything for the rear? If not, do you guys know any company out there make bars for the rear?

Finally, to all the TL drivers out there. If you have any aftermarket parts to sell, please let me know. Thanks!

Congrats on the body kit! The Eibachs are not available. Your choices are Neuspeed and Comptech for the sways. The Neuspeed are thicker. Be cautious with the Race. I hear it can rip out the anchor bolts. For a strut bar, you have the choice of Comptech, Neuspeed, Cusco and Eibach.

Somebody installed a rear tie bar. I think it is a Cusco. Try a search and you might find who it is. It did hang low, you'd have to be reallllly careful.

If you really want to improve the handling, springs are a must.
1. springs (and shocks) or coilovers.
2. good rubber with or without new wheels.
3. sways.
4. strut bar if you want to finish it off.
IMO

I believe that the sways will make the most difference out of any suspension mod

I agree with see_fu.

The sways significantly limit body roll. My car doesn't feel like a sport compact or anything but it doesn't wallow at all (not like it used to). You will not be dissapointed with Comptech Sways. I definitely need new tires. I've skidded around corners and really tossed my car around upon installing the sways.

Although the sways may not alter grip or cornering agility they severly limit how much the body of the car rolls in corners and highspeed lane changes. Although the car may eventually lose control due to limited grip, under harsh left-right steering wheel movements the body remains flat.

I modified the suspension is the above order. I noticed huge improvement with the first two (spring,shocks/tires,wheels). The sways just fine tuned it. The strut maybe but just as much cosmetic.
