Swap ebony wood for parchment wood?
I'm in the process of purchasing a TL-S from Acura of Avon in CT (any previous experiences welcome--there's no Western MA Acura dealers ) and I really wanted the parchment interior because I figured the ebony would (a) show too much dust and (b) be damn hot in the summer sun. However, I absolutely love the ABP color but would be forced to get the ebony interior. While I think I could live with it, the bowling ball wood kills me. Has anyone tried to swap out the wood with the parchment wood kit? Either ask the dealer to do it or purchase the parts directly? Anyone know what it would cost to purchase this myself? If I'm not mistaken, the only pieces involved are door trim and center console trim.

Welcome...
I like the Ebony wood.
I'd trade with you if you lived around here and if those door pieces were easier to remove. Not only that, I already have the burlwood knob and wood vent trim.. so I guess I can after all.
There may be someone who wants to trade with you. I agree the blue with parchment would be sooo nice.
