also the thing is... 4 grand for what, 40 hp? I would get it just to get to low 13's or even high 12's, but when you really think about it, that's expensive for 40 ponies...

this is argued over and over, but forget about the fact u get 40hp peak... its the fact that you get them over virtually the whole rpm range, and more importantly, u're getting torque all across the band!

What types of cars, with higher performance than the stock TL-S, would one with the supercharger be able to stupify, ie "assrape"? Anyone got it on their Tl yet?

that's why I'm looking for some 1/4 times.

A stock E55 will go 13.3... if a TL-S can do almost that, I think I'm in.

Sounds like there's going to be an AEM CAI for sale soon!

Where are you located Zodiak?

An old E55 will run 13.3 but the 2004 has over 100 more hp and the same for torque and will blow under 13's for sure...

The s/c for a TL-S will not even put you in 13.3 territory or close to it...Even the CL-S guys aren't getting near that...

u can put SC in TL but TL-S is automtic.
da tanrsmsion is only for 260 if u try to boost da HP u r gonna kill ur tansmation within a year. i belive u can da SC kit is out aleardy..but if u want to keep ur transmation do not put SC or Turbe for AT car..and also i htink 260 HP for a FF car is high enough.did u guys ever think about da traction?
da traction will be really really bad after u put SC ...

those of us running headers and intake already have over 300hp on a 260hp car, and the tranny is fine. and ye, traction with over 300hp becomes an issue if u WOT from standing still, but if u take off easily, and dont WOT on turns, the car drives like a regular car. most people driving a SC car do not live at the drag strip. so u dont really drive it with even the full 260 unless u open up, and even there, u wont stay at full power for too long, but i guess time will tell... and btw, toyota installs a turbo on their AT camry as part of their TRD package, and the tranny stays the same

A transmition cooler comes with the kit. Change to Redline AT fluid for a little extra protection. As far as the traction goes, at least for straight line starts, just try to avoid wheel hop so the axles don't break.
