Supercharger for regular TL's

I have a 2000 TL with I/H/E and am seriously considering the Comptech supercharger when it becomes avalible. Can anyone give me an estimate on what it would run in the quarter mile with these modifications?

Also if the tranny were to go out would the dealer be able to tell that I forced induction if I removed it before going in for warranty service?

I know the supercharger has been released already for the Cl-S 6 speed and it is about a month away for the Tl-S's. Does anyone have a time frame for the release date for regular Tl's.

I have already searched, any comments are appreciated.

Thank You, J.T.

I reseived that E-mail from Comptech...they wrote that a Supercharger for the CL-S - TL-S Automatic Trans. is being developed...However, they did say that a Supercharger for the base models is also in development, but that it would not be street legal...I got no info on a date...They did add to check back with them in about a month for an update (hint hint)...

Why would you spend $5k for 50 horsies. You could get a custom turbo setup for that. OR get Nitrous and save $4500

One place located in FL will be selling the kits for around $3900, I am still not 100% sure I 'll get it though. I wouldn't trust anyone around here for a custom turbo. Something about nitrous scares me.

After a lot of thought... Ive decided that 50 shot wet is the way to go.

Several of my friends are squeezing and they have no problems at all.

Besides, its time to sell the TL soon....

I just like to have fun on weekends. I should have gotten a sports car but some how I went from s2000 to 3.2 TL...

The place is Stage 6 Motorsports.........and as for being scared about nitrous...the only thing scary is someone else using it to beat you.
