Post Subaru Impreza WRX

Man~! this I saw the TV commercial today, and that blue Impreza looked very sharp.
It had STi parts but man... 227HP Turbocharged 5speed and all wheel drive for $24,000? That's awsome.!! with little twick w/ chip and aftermarket parts, this car will be very competitive.

Yeah I saw that blue commercial (weird how they had last years model SWRT form in the middle of the commercial) and the silver one in the rain commercial today. That car looks so damn sweet...

What do you guys think man, Acura TL Type-S or Subaru Impreza... I know they are two totally different cars/paths, but damn what a choice.

The cars arent even comparable.... If you are looking for a rally sport, high strung, 4 wheel drive hot rod....look at the subaru. Its not a near luxury class vehicle like the TL. Its like comparing a Camaro to a Cadillac STS.....

99 Chevy Explorer high top conversion (vacation ride)
94 Ranger Splash 4x4 ext cab. (work/haul ride)

02 TL-S Black/Ebony Underbody/spoiler/wood(due 3/28) MY RIDE
00 John Deere 4 wheel steer (yard ride...hehe)

Hi,

It's a really fantastic car. However, it will not be as luxurious as the TL Type S.

Cool

If it was more luxurious (I know it's not meant to be), I would consider it. My fiance is looking at the Legacy, but I'm trying to convince her to get the WRX. She's not too big on it though....

Talking

Well, yes I know, that's why I said they were two totally different paths. I just don't know what path I should take.

WRX all the way.

Much more fun for less price. With the money you saved, mod to the car. It is very easy to get 400+ HP out of this engine. With additional chassis modification, this is the best sport sedan you can buy for under $40k.

How do u know that "He's torn between the TL-S and WRX"? He didn't say that in his original post.

BTW, why did "HOT" post the same thing in two forums? See the closed thread in the "TL forum": http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006341.html

For the money, the WRX is the way to go. Turbo cars always means potential for a lot more power.
