Stupid !@#%$# fog lamp housing

I got a set of SilverStars for Xmas and was all excited about putting them on today. I get the 10mm bolt out and expect the fog lamp housing to push out easily. Nope. Doesn't happen. It just wiggles. Is there another clip or latch I need to know about?

Thanks,
Dennis

After you got the bolt off. take a flathead and gently pry it. It should come out.

Try again. A lot of people replaced the bulbs w/o any difficulties.

After you took off the bolt, use your hand and reach in through the vents and squeeze a little clip and push toward you and it should pop right off.

I did multilple searches and read the manual before posting. The manual simply states:
1. Use a wrench to loosen the light assembly's mounting bolt.
2. Remove the light assembly from the bumper.

This explains my frustration at not being able to easily remove the assembly and the question regarding additional fixtures.

TypeSDragon, Thanks for your help. I'll give it another try now that I know what to look for.

There is a black clip that holds the fog light in place above the fog light. You have to push that down and pop the fog light out at the same time. I've changed my fogs 4 times already, so
i'm an expert!!!

For the life of me, I couldn't find the so called clip on the top of the fog light.

I could hardly get my hand in there, let alone find the clip! And i'm not a big guy either!!!

So, can anyone help me with the fog light removal???

Hey TypeS Dragon, why did you unscrew the three bolts when all you had to do was turn the bulb?

I don't think you need to do that either. I just turned the bulb to release it from the housing.
