(I'm a newbie - sorry if this has been discussed before)

In the March '02 Car and Driver there is a letter to the editor from a guy in New Jersey about his HID headlights being stolen right out of his '01 TL - says there were 7 other TLs in the shop getting fixed for the same thing and the mechanic told him they get about 15 per month! Apparently the HIDs fit Accords, which are one of the most (if not the most) commonly stolen cars. Anyone have this happen to them or hear about it?

 

Yes this has been discussed before.

The stolen headlight spree seems to be happening in the east coast a lot. Just be careful where you park and try to keep an eye out.

 

I understand that your new, but please use the search feature (accessed from the search button on your left) to check for previously discussed topics. There are numerous threads and posts reagrding this.....

And thanks for pointing out the search function - (in case anyone's interested, there's 69 threads about stolen headlights dating back to last March or so! - mostly East coast, but some about LA - didn't see any in Northern CA though. )

 

This actually happened a few days ago in my town....at the tower center in East Brunswick...where I had parked for the day just a couple weeks ago....not gonna be parking there again anytime soon..
