well, mpg matters (to me atleast) b/c it could be a sign that something isn't right w/ the car.. i mean, i would love to get those mpg's for the sake of saving money and getting every mile out of the gas, but i would rather get those mpg knowing that the car is performing like it should and there is nothing wrong w/ it esp. at the higher mileages (currently @ 100100 mi). i hope i'm being clear/understandable..

but like stated before, there are way to many variables. Driving style and location are the largest ones. i can notice a difference in my mileage between 2 different gas stations (1 i wont go to any more) here.

i have 185k and still get great mileage
